Hi all!

I'm planning to visit Japan and next year and would like to go from Tokyo to Gunma, Gunma to Osaka, and Osaka back to Tokyo.
All this in the span of about 14 days. Should I get a JR Pass? If I do, what JR pass should I get for the best value?

Hi there,

I don't think it would pay off to use a 14 day JR Pass but possible you could do your long distance travel within a 7 day period? Then use a 7 day JR Pass? At least for Gunma to Osaka, and Osaka back to Tokyo.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
