We (myself and my 12 year old son) are flying into Narita tomorrow night 15/1, I need to catch a train to Shinjuku station. We will use the trains locally on Wednesday and on Thursday we plan to travel by train out to Mt Fuji and return, then on Thursday morning catch a train back to Narita.

What pass should we buy?

Thanks

Hi there,

For your trip to Tokyo to and from Narita a [Skyliner +2-day Metro] pass is a really great option, this will also help out for your next days when you want to travel locally in Tokyo.

When you go to Fuji a Hakone Pass can be helpful but is of better value when you stay there for more than a day. Alternatively you can use a HighWay bus from Shinjuku to Fuji-san is also a great option and starts at about 1700Yen/Person/One way.

Hope this helps!
