Hi there,

Here is a schedule with the full route from Shinjuku to Sapporo. The route between Tokyo and Sapporo is rather long taking around 600 minutes (or 10 hours). Many people make a stop along the way in a place like Hachinohe, Hirosaki or Hakodate, alternatively you take a direct flight from Tokyo.

I have done it a couple of times myself and it is not so bad if you have work to do and a good book or two.

I hope this helps,
Daniel
