Hello! My wife and I will be visiting for about 16 days at the end of September into October. We're landing in Tokyo and plan to visit Kyoto and Osaka, though we're not set on the amount of days in each place yet. Is the JR Pass the most cost effective option with those 3 cities in mind (and possible day-trips as well) or are individual tickets cheaper? Thanks!

Hi there,
For your itinerary it is likely to be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. However, the JR Pass will cover all of your itinerary and so it is still an option worth looking into if you feel that a pass is better suited for you.
Hope this helps!
