Sleeper Train to Sapporo

I have few questions regarding JR Pass

  1. is JR Pass valid in a sleeper train going to Sapporo?

  2. does the sleeper train is point to Point from Tokyo to Sapporo?

Hi there,

Since the opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen back a couple years ago, there are no longer any night trains going to Sapporo. I recommend using the Shinkansen by day instead.

What time is the first and last train going to Hokkaido from Tokyo vice versa?
