We are travelling from California to Japan in March. We are arriving at Haneda Airport, we are then travelling straight to Kyoto. My understanding is that we need to use our JR passes to get to the Shingawa station and then we need to go to Shinkansen using the Keikyu Line. Please correct me if I wrong. We also need to make a reservation for the Shinkansen Keikyu line. How do we make this reservation for the Shinkansen Keikyo line so we are assured to have our four seats and have them together?

Hi there,
Your plan from Haneda sounds good. To reserve seats for the Shinkansen, you can do this at JR Travel Offices or on Ticket Machines, both of which can be found at Haneda Airport. You can read our guide here on activating the pass at Haneda, where you can also reserve seats.
Hope this helps!
