Hello
I will be on a 14 day trip to Japan - 4 days in Tokyo, 1 day in Nikko, 1 day in Hakone, 2 days in Kyoto, 1 day in Nara, 2 days in Osaka and days in Kanazawa and finally returning to Tokyo - and I don't know if purchasing a JR pass for 14 days is worth it at the expense of purchasing individual trips. Could you help me?
Thank you very much in advance

Hi there,

For your itinerary, because you'll be spending an extended period of time in Tokyo at the beginning it seems unlikely that a 14-day JR Pass would be your most cost-effective option - additionally, travel to Hakone is not entirely covered by the JR Pass, only up until Odawara Station. I'd therefore suggest purchasing your tickets individually.

Kind regards,

Alexis
