Can the JR pass be used to travel to Nikko?

Hi Alan,
Yes the train to Nikko is completely covered with the JR Pass and the route is partly traveled by bullet train. Which is very nice. Here is the full route from Shinjuku (I understand from your last post that you plan to stay there in Tokyo).
