narita airport to osaka by shinkansen

Sorry to bring you bad news but it will be near to impossible to reach Osaka on the same day as your arrival.
The last train connection depart Narita at 19:30. Given that arrival procedures at Narita Airport take about 40 minutes on average this will be very hard to accomplish. The JR Pass is would also be of little use as the train is a Nozomi.

For reference the last train connection possible with the JR Pass leaves Narita Airport at 18:48.

I would recommend staying the night near Narita airport or at Tokyo and travel on the next morning.

Hi Roshan,

It's basically the same problem as above, as a general rule trains stop riding from midnight and resume the next morning around 6 a.m. The first train covered by the JR Pass leaves Shin-Osaka at 06:27. This means that you would arrive at Narita Airport around 10:58. Here

The best thing to do would be to return to Tokyo or even Narita the night before and stay the night there before heading back home.
