I am planning on traveling with some friends from Kyoto to Tokyo by using the Hikari Shinkansen train with our Jr pass. What route do we use? Do we have to change trains anywhere?

There is only one route, which is Tokyo - Kyoto on the Tokaido Shinkansen.
