A plan journey arriving 29 December 2013 early morning Kansai airport.
Journey to Tokyo by JR pass to arrive by 2.00pm and stay for 4 nights.
Journey from Tokyo to Kyoto by JR pass on 2 January 2014 to arrive by 2.00 pm
4 nights stay in Kyoto and visiting Hiroshima and Osaka areas of interest.
Leaving for the Kansai airport on early morning 6 January 2014 .
Does 7 days JR pass cover the whole journey ? Cost effective ?
When JR pass should be purchased before arriving in Kansai airport ?
Thanking you in anticipation of your wise advice.

Hi there!

Yes the JR Pass would be a great option for this and you would make some amazing savings by using one. However keep in mind that the JR Pass will only be valid for 7 days, which would be until the 4th of January. So be sure to be back in Osaka by this time.

The JR Pass would cover all of the above travel but you have to purchase one before arriving at Kansai Airport.
You can purchase one online here if you like.

I hope this helps!
Daniel
