I will be flying in to Narita and staying in Tokyo for about 9 days, with one side trip planned to see Mt Fuji. Is it worth it for me to buy the pass? (seems like no....?)

Hi there,
If you just visit Fuji, it'd be better to buy normal tickets as you travel. The JR Pass is very good for for travel nation wide but it is better to buy normal tickets if you stay locally.
You can find more information on how to get to Fuji here.
Hope this helps!
Daniel
