JR Pass Coverage

Hi Thanh,

Basically the JR Pass covers all JR Train lines throughout Japan, in addition it is valid on a limited amount of other transport methods. These include local JR Busses and the JR Ferry to Miyajima. I would recommend reading this page for the exact validity.

Hi there,

The JR Pass is valid on all, expect for the NoHi bus, which is a company different from JR. Here normal tickets will be required.

Meaning the 7 days pass will not cover the Nohi bus.

So only Takayama-Hokuriku Area pass will include Nohi Bus?
