I will be going to Tokyo n Osaka from 31st jan to 6th Feb 2014, can I purchase the 5 days jr pass when i reach Tokyo? need your advice please.

Hi there!
The JR Pass is valid in periods of 7, 14 and 21 days. However a 7 Day JR Pass may still pay of if you use it to travel from Tokyo to Osaka and back.
The JR Pass can only be purchased outside of Japan, you can order one online HERE if you wish.
