Hello, We will be travelling for 8 days and this will be our itinerary
1-Narita- Tokyo
2-Tokyo ( maybe 1 day trip somewhere very near)
3-Tokyo - Kyoto
4-Kyoto -Nara (and return)
5-Kyoto - Tokyo
6-Tokyo - Narita

Based on the prices you are indicating in other questions I am not 100% sure if it is just cheaper and more convenient to buy individual tickets ? Can you please share your thoughts ?

thanks in advance

Hi Pau,

I am a bit confused by your post, you say that you will travel 8 days yet your itinerary shows 6 days of travel.

Here is a little oversight for the itinerary above (I am assuming it are 6 days).

Narita --> Tokyo ¥ 2,940
Tokyo --> Kyoto ¥ 13,220
Kyoto --> Nara (return) 1,380
Kyoto --> Tokyo ¥ 13,220
Tokyo --> Narita ¥ 2,940

For a total of ¥ 33,700. A 7-Day JRPass costs ¥ 28,300 so you would save at least ¥5,400 plus you can use it for Local JR trains in Tokyo and maybe the 1 day trip. If you ask me it is definitely worth it :)

Hope this clears things up!
-Daniel
