Hi, the last post about this was 8years ago so wondering if it has changed: we'd like to use the Hokuriku Arch Pass but upgrade to Green Car for the trip from Kanazawa to Tokyo, is this possible? How much would it cost? How would we go about doing this?

Hi there,
I don't believe that you are able to 'upgrade' any single portion of a trip covered by a regional/national pass - you'd have to purchase a separate Green Car ticket which would set you back a fair amount, just under 25,000 YEN. This can be done online or in person, if you wish to proceed.
Kind regards,
Alexis
