Hi all,
After reading multiple posts, I have yet to find a definite answer on how best to get from Haneda (domestic) to Narita (international).
Option1: $ additional cost involved
1. Exit Haneda airport and enter Haneda station (Keikyu line): purchase a ticket to Shinagawa (410 yen)
2. Travel to Shinagawa station (~20min)
3. Change platforms to Narita express line
4. Travel from Shinagawa to Narita int. station (t1) via Narita Express (> 1hr) - using JR Pass
Given that the Narita Express must be pre-booked, were does one book the Shinagawa-> Narita leg (for example, does one exit Shinagawa station and book at the station ticket office?)
Option2: nill cost (using JR Pass)
1. Exit Haneda airport and enter Haneda monorail station
2. Travel to Hamamatsucho monorail station (~6min) - using JR Pass
3. Change platforms/station to JR Yamanote line
4. Travel from Hamamatsucho station to Toyko station - using JR Pass
5. Change platforms to the Narita express line
6. Travel from Tokyo station to Narita int. station (t1) via Narita Express (> 1hr) - using JR Pass
Again, given that the Narita Express must be pre-booked, were does one book the Tokyo-> Narita leg.
There is some suggestion that reservations can be made online (https://www.eki-net.com/pc/jreast-shinkansen-reservation/English/wb/common/Menu/Menu.aspx) thou haven't checked/confirm if this is true/possible or how one can know ahead of time the time of reservation required/needed.
Any helpful comments are most appreciated.
Regards
Philip
