Hi there
we've realised that we are travelling from Hakone to Kyoto during the start of Golden Week 28th of April. I was just wanting wondering if the train line from Hakone to Kyoto has the green car option so that we can book our seats (as we have luggage) in advance?
If we aren't able to book our seats in advance, do you think we'll have a lot of difficulty getting a seat on the train with all of our luggage as it's such a busy time?

Hi there,
You can book seats the day that you arrive in Japan. I think you would be fine reserving the tickets then. Trains from Odawara station (Hakone) to Kyoto do indeed have Green Seats.
