i am travelling with my son to Japan. He would be 11 years 11 months old when his exchange order will be exchanges into JR Pass. So as on day of exchange, he is not completed 12 years. Does he need child pass or an adult pass?

Hello there,
The day of purchase is leading when buying child passes. This means that a child can quality for a child pass, if the order is placed before the child becomes 12 years of age.
