Bullet train, osaka to narita airport, JR pass

Hi there,

I don't have your day by day plan but be sure to include Tokyo --> Kyoto --> Nara --> Osaka --> Narita Airport within the validity period of the pass. This is the most expensive route and would allow you to make the best possible savings.

Going back to Narita, you can use the bullet train to Tokyo station and Narita Express from there to Tokyo. You can reserve seats in person, at any ticket window in Japan.

4/20 arrive at Narita Airport 11:20am
4/21 venture through tokyo
4/22 venture through tokyo
4/23 venture through tokyo
4/24 eat breakfast/lunch in tokyo; head to Kyoto by bullet train around 1pm
3:30pm arrive in Kyoto; check into AirBNB; explore 4/25 explore kyoto
4/26 eat breakfast/lunch in Kyoto; head to Nara via bullet train around 3pm
4pm arrive in Nara; check into AirBNB; explore 4/27 eat breakfast/lunch; heat to Osaka via bullet train around 2pm
3pm arrive in Osaka; check into AirBNB; explore 4/28 eat breakfast/lunch; head to Osaka station to take bullet train to tokyo station (leave around 12pm)
arrive at tokyo station around 4pm; take narita express or airport limo arrive at Narita airport at 5pm flight to seoul 1925

I want to get the JR pass for 7 days; when should I activate it to maximize my trip? If I activate it on 4/21 will I have it until 4/28?
