Hi there,
As far as I'm aware, there are no scheduled blackout dates for the JR Pass in 2024. However, it's always good to check with the dates that you'll be visiting just in case.

Hi there,
To confirm, there are no black out days for the Japan Rail Pass.
What we do recommend is making seat reservations ahead of time for busy periods, like Golden Week and the New Year celebrations.
