While the JR Pass covers the entire trip, it would be more economic to purchase normal tickets. The JR Pass would be great if used for a return trip Tokyo - Osaka.

This also brings of to Q1. Yes the JR Pass covers all these stops. However it is basically a one way route Tokyo - Osaka, Yokohama, Nagoya and Kyoto are directly on the route.

2/3.) The JR Pass covers local JR lines and transport run by JR. Transport run by other companies is not. Most buses are run by other companies.

3.) It takes about 3 hours.

4.) You can only purchase the JR Pass outside of Japan. This is important to know if you do want to purchase one.

Q1as you said the im travelling a one way route. Tokyo - Osaka, Yokohama, Nagoya and Kyoto are directly on the route, if I'm buying the normal ticket , i have to buy different for each stops right ? like tokyo to yokohama, yokohama to nagoya, nagoya to kyoto , kyoto to osaka.
Q2how about the airport express train to the city(tokyo) ? does jr pass covers too ?
Q3 how much does it cost for a day pass for local underground ticket in tokyo?
