Hi,

I'm confused of which pass should I purchase, and does the pass will cover all the transport expenses of all my routes below?

15/04/2023 -Fukuoka (Hakata Station?) - Huis Ten Bosch (I believe I can use Shinkansen for this?)
17/04/2023 - Fukuoka - Miyajima - Hiroshima - back to Fukuoka
18/04/2023 - Fukuoka - Okayama
20/04/2023 - Okayama - Osaka
21/04/2023 - Osaka-Kobe-Osaka
23/04/2023 - Osaka - Atami, Shizuoka
25/04/2023 - Atami - Tokyo
26/04/2023 - Tokyo - Hitachi Seaside Park

I know Nozomi Shinkansen doesnt cover these routes. I've been trying to search about Hikari Shinkansen schedules but couldnt find any. Does Hikari Shinkansen cover these routes? Which JR Pass should I buy?

Hi there,

You are likely at Google Maps, which is not a great resource for planning your JR trips, as it does not show Hikari services in most cases. Instead, use apps like Japan Travel planner by Navi time.

The JR Pass will cover all these routes and you can use the Hikari, Sakura and Kodama train services on this routes without any further costs. We have several resourches on our blog that will help you understand this all better. I recommend reading:
Planning for the JR Pass What is the Hikari.

As for the JR Pass, I think your best option would be to use a 14-day pass.

Kind regards,
Daniel
