I'm really late to order my JRPass. Today is Nov. 15th (Friday) and I leave for Japan Nov. 20 (Wednesday). Is it recommended that I list my delivery address as my friend's home in Tokyo or do I still have time to receive the necessary documents in Oslo?

It would be short time, I recommend shipping the JR Pass to your accommodation in Japan. While delays are rare, sometimes shipping delays can happen outside our control.
