Is the 7D JR West Sanyo-Sanin Regional Rail Pass (about JPY 20000) valid on both base fare and reserved Nobinobi Limited Express fare on Limited Express Sunrise Izumo 1 from Okayama (0634) to Izumoshi (0958), then Limited Express Sunrise Izumo 2 from Izumoshi (1851) to Okayama (2230)?
I am just curious because I have 9 more regions (other than completed Kansai and Kyushu regions) to go.

Hi there,
Regional passes are not valid on the Sunrise express trains. Should you wish to travel on this train, then consider using a Japan Rail Pass or a normal ticket for this train.

Since the West Express Ginza is available after 2020-09-11, does Sanyo-Sanin Regional pass cover this train?

Hi Jet,
The West Express Ginza will (likely) be covered by the JR Pass and JR West passes that cover the area, but no official announcement regarding this has yet to me made.
The train will initially only be bookable through travel agencies and is expected to enter normal service (meaning bookable at any JR ticket window) in Q1 of 2021.
