Can I pay for 1 station add-on to my regional pass?

Hi!

I'm trying to get from Kyoto to Iiyama Station. Going eastbound, the Kanzai-Hakuriku gets me to Joetsu-Myoko, which is one station short of Iiyama. Is it possible to just pay for 1 station fare as an add-on? If so, do I have to pay for both the fare AND seat fee indicated by Hyperdia?

Many many thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Yes, that's possible. You would indeed have to pay both fare and seat fee.

Kind regards,
Daniel
