I'm travelling to Japan in Feb. Plans are as follows:
6 Feb: Yokohama - Gotemba - Yokohama
7 Feb: Yokohama - Osaka
8 Feb: Osaka - Kyoto - Nara - Osaka
9 Feb: Osaka - Yokohama
10 Feb: Yokohama - Nagano
11 Feb: Nagano - Nikko - Nagano
12 Feb: Nagano - Yokohama
13 Feb: Yokohama - Tokyo
Would the 7 day JR National Pass suffice?

My recommendation would be to use a 7 day Japan Rail Pass and start using it on 7th of Feb.
You would get very good savings in this period and the pass will cover travel between all these cities.
