Which pass matches my itinerary

I am in Japan for a whole month what pass should I get? and also within tokyo can I take any public transport with the JR pass? will I be able to get around (also to rural hiking areas) with the JR pass? And if yes which one and for which time sequence should I get it?
my itinerary is as followed:
Day 1 Narita international airport - Tokyo
Day 2 Tokyo
Day 3 Tokyo
Day 4 Tokyo - Hakodate
Day 5 Hakodate
Day 6 Hakodate
Day 7 Hakodate
Day 8 Hakodate
Day 9 - 12 ??
Day 13 Mt Fuji hike
Day 14 Kyoto
Day 15 Kyoto
Day 16 Kyoto
Day 17 Kyoto
Day 18 Kyoto
Day 19 Osaka
Day 20 Osaka
Day 21 Osaka
Day 22 Osaka - Nara
Day 23 Nara - Hiroshima
Day 24 Hiroshima
Day 25 Hiroshima - Tokyo?
25-28 ??

Hi there,

Because your itinerary is spread out, it’s likely that for most of your trip it’d be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. I would suggest looking into a Kansai-Hiroshima Pass, for use between day 19-23, as it’s likely you’d make savings using this pass. If you do prefer to use a rail pass for the whole duration of your trip, purchasing a 14-day JR Pass for use between day 4-17 of your trip is additionally an option, but note that this would be a more expensive option.
