Here is my itinerary:
Arrive Tokyo, 3/16.
-In Tokyo 3/16-3/19 (staying near Ebisu Station).
Depart Tokyo/Arrive Hakone 3/19.
-In Hakone 3/19-3/21.
Depart Hakone/Arrive Kyoto 3/21.
-In Kyoto 3/21-3/24.
Depart Kyoto/Arrive Tokyo 3/24 (staying near Tamachi Station).
-In Tokyo 3/24-3/25.
Depart Tokyo 3/25.
When is the optimal time to activate a 7-day pass with this itinerary? My idea is that we would activate on 3/18, but I hope a smart person on this forum can help confirm this for me. And advice for getting from Narita to Ebisu Station without a JR Pass would be welcome too.
