Hello,

I'm travelling to Japan in March 2020 and have two questions about the JRPass

1) Can I use the JR pass for the following itinerary? Toyko-Takayama-Kyoto-Hiroshima-Osaka-Koyasan-Osaka

2) What would be the best itinerary route between Kyoto, Hiroshima, Koyasan, and Osaka? At the moment we are travelling from Kyoto to Koyasan for 1 night, then Koyasan to Osaka for 1 night, then Hiroshima for 1 night, then back to Osaka for 1 night to fly home. Is this a sensible route or would it be better to do Kyoto - Hiroshima - Osaka - Koyasan - Osaka?

Hi Claire,

1.) Yes, this route is fully covered.

2.) Either route would work, personally I'd do Kyoto - Koya-san - Osaka but the difference is quite small.
