I need to get to Fukuoka the very same day I arrive to Tokyo, How long is the trip? Do i have to change trains? Where do i look for this information?

Hi there,

For Fukuoka you will need the station "Hakata", which is the old name for Fukuoka. Here is a sample itinerary from Tokyo to Hakata. As you can see it will take around 6hrs on the bullets and require 1 change at Shin-Osaka. You may also want to investigate internal transfer flights if your are going to Fukuoka as soon as you arrive in Japan.
