Hello,
I need help if I should buy a JR pass for my trip which start from Narita airport at 22nd December - then move to Shin Osaka on 25th - then go to kyoto, etc and back to narita airport again on 29th.
I tried to check all the Shinkansen and all of them are showing Nozomi which if I'm not mistaken, isn't covered by the JR pass.
could you help me please?

Hi there,
The JR Pass is cost efficient here, assuming you'd use it for a return trip Tokyo - Osaka.
The JR Pass covers the Hikari Train on this route. For details see:

May I ask a few more questions?
- since my trip start from 22nd Dec, I assume that for 7 days coverage, then I should start activating the pass from 23rd to be able to use it until 29th ? we will mostly use it for the shinkansen on25th and 29th.
- we plan to go to Arashiyama bamboo forest, Kiyomizu Dera, Fushimi Inari Taisa, and Nara temple. Do the route to reach those place from Shin Osaka covered by JR ?
