I will be traveling to Japan in May 2020, and are basically looking at doing:
- Narita Express to Tokyo - stay two days in Tokyo - Tokyo to Kyoto - stay four days in Kyoto - Kyoto to Hiroshima - stay one day in Hiroshima - Hiroshima to Osaka - stay four days in Osaka - Osaka to Tokyo - stay overnight in Tokyo - Tokyo to Narita Expres

So now the big question - is it easier to buy individual RESERVED seats or buy a 14-day JR 'Green Class' ?

Please help me !!!

Hi there,

For this route I would definitely recommend a Japan Rail Pass, you can make good savings and the JR Pass will cover travel between all the cities you go to. The Green Class is a nice addition too, as it is a lot more relaxing :)

Do note that Green Seats are all reserved, so reserve your seat before boarding the train. This is free with the pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
