We are a family of 3 adults. We travelling to Japan from 20 december to 31 december . Our itinerary is as follows.
20 dec. - Narita international airport
21 dec - Tokyo
22 dec - Tokyo
23 dec - Ueda (Nagano)
24 dec - Nagano
25 dec - Ueda
26 dec - Hiroshima
28 dec - Kyoto
29 dec - Tokyo
30 dec - tokyo
31 dec - Haneda international airport.
Please suggest if we should go for JR pass and for how many days. Thank you so much.

24 dec - Nagano
25 dec - Ueda
26 dec - Hiroshima
28 dec - Kyoto
You can use the pass for the far majority of these trips and make very good savings.
