March 29 I travel from Hiroshima to Kagoshima
March 31 Kagoshima to Kumamoto
April 1 Kumamoto to Nagasaki
April 3 Nagasaki to Hakata Station Fukuoka
April 5 Fukouka to Kure in the early AM, then Onomichi/Mihare side trip (Mihare overnight)
April 6 return to Hiroshima for several days (I plan to take ferry to Miyajima island overnight April 7)

It looks like All Kyushu Pass and also Kansai-Hiroshima area pass result in savings to me, am I correct?

Hi there,

For your trip, we recommend considering the following two passes:

  • the All Kyushu Area Pass The All Kyushu Area Pass covers travel within Kyushu, but separate return tickets are required for the Hiroshima Station to Kokura Station route.

  • the Sanyo-San'in Northern Kyushu Pass Travel to Kagoshima is not covered by the Sanyo-San'in Northern Kyushu Pass. You will need separate tickets from Kumamoto.

I hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Mariko
