Hi,
We will like to take the Nozomi bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo on 25/12/2013 Christmas Day and very close to your Peak season Japan New Year week. Will we be able to book the train ticket in time if we arrive in Osaka only on 22/12/2013?
Is 25/12/2013 bullet train seats for 3 person on Nozomi available?
Do I need to worry?

Hi Agnes,
I think that you will be fine! Unlike other parts of the world, Japan does not celebrate Christmas as a national holiday. Most people just go to work and the other people that are really on the move are foreigners.
You have a lot of time with 3 days in advance to book your tickets, so I think that you can even pick your seat (and yes 3 seats are available on the Nozomi).
