Hi I am planning a short trip to japan from the 26th to the 30th. Im not sure which if any JR pass is best for me. My tentative itinerary is
Kansai- Osaka
Osaka- Kyoto (return day trip)
Osaka- Nagano (3 days return)
Osaka- Hiroshima (day trip return)
Osaka - Kansai airport
Could you please advise of best option and how frequently per day the trains run from osaka to nagano?

Let's see if you could make savings with a 7 day JR Pass.
Kansai Airport - Osaka ¥ 1,160
Osaka - Kyoto (return) ¥ 1,080
Osaka - Nagano ¥ 11,770
Nagano - Osaka ¥ 11,770
Osaka - Hiroshima ¥ 10,150
Hiroshima - Osaka ¥ 10,150
Osaka - Kansai Airport ¥ 1,160
For a total of ¥ 47,240 or ¥ 18,940 in savings as the 7 day JR Pass is ¥ 28,300. That are some great savings!
Trains depart at least every 30 minutes during day time to both Nagano and Hiroshima.
