We are planning to visit Japan soon and wanted to know if there was a train or bus from Niseko to New Chitose Airport? Would the JR Pass work for this route? Also, is there a JR Hokkaido Bus line from Niseko to New Chitose Airport?

Yes, you can use the JR train lines between Niseko and CTS airport, and yes the JR Pass covers this route.

Great thank you! Is there anyway we can activate our Jr pass in Niseko? Would Kutchan Station be the closest place to activate it or do we have to activate it at the nearest airport which is Chitose?
