We're planning a trip to Japan from March 7th through Mar 16th, arriving and departing NRT. Considering purchasing return JR tickets for the airport ride to/from Tokyo and then activating a 7-day JR Rail Pass on Thursday Mar 9th for the following travel:
Thur Mar 9 Tokyo-Nagano
Sat Mar 11 Nagano to Takayama Gifu
Sun Mar 12 Takayama to Kyoto
Tues Mar 14 Kyoto to Tokyo
Will I see a cost savings with a 7-day pass with this itinerary?
