Hi there,
Hakone is not included in the JR Pass, but if you're only spending a night or two there a Hakone FreePass includes travel around Hakone and a return trip back to Odawara Station, which gets you on the Tokaido Shinkansen and easily gets you to Hiroshima. I would suggest purchasing one in tandem with your JR Pass.
