I am getting to Tokyo on March 13th and I plan to travel to Osaka on March 16th, Kyoto on March 18th, then Tokyo again on March 21. Could I get a 7 day pass to cover just March 16-21? How would I set the activation date to start on 16th specifically?
Also, what is the best route to take from Kyoto to Kansai International Airport?

When you activate the JR Pass in Japan, then the JR Staff will ask you to select a starting date.
