This is our 3rd times visiting Japan. So I and friend plan to do something different.
4//12/22 - osaka to shin fuji
5/12/22 - mt fuji paragliding then go back to osaka
6 to 11/12/22 - osaka , kyoto, nara, kobe

The above is my draft itinerary.
My question:
1) Is JR pass cover the place above?
2) My first day at fuji area what can I do?
3) any suggestion itinerary for osaka, kyoto, nara and kobe?

Hope to hear from you ASAP.

Thank you

Hi Niki,

Third time is the charm! As you'll likely get to see places most first time visitors never do.

The first thing I need to point out is that I would NOT stay near Shin-Fuji station. This is an industrial area with nothing of interest at all, not any good transport options to explore Mt. Fuji from. If you want to stay near a Shinkansen station, then do Atami, Mishima or Odawara, but avoid Shin-Fuji!

Now to your questions:
1.) Yes, but you may still need addition transport around mt Fuji (see: https://www.jrpass.com/blog/itinerary-tip-mt-fuji).
2.) There is so much to do, my recommendation. Do the Hakone Circle.
3.) Tell me what you like, and I can give you some tailored recommendations :)

Kind regards,
Daniel
