Hi Wong,

That's a pretty big trip (I've put the hours you'll need next to each leg), but it is totally possible. Here are the legs you should take:

As you'll be doing most of your travel in Hokkaido, have you thought about buying an 'open jaw' flight where you would land in chitose airport and fly back from Nagoya Centrair Airport?

This trip may also be the sort of trip where the Japan Air Pass may be a better choice, especially because you're going direct from Haneda to Sapporo.

Normally I'd not reccomend the air pass because it's such a hassle getting to and from airports that for most travel it doesn't make sense, but in this case, you may want to look into getting the air pass flights from Haneda to Sapporo, and then Sapporo to Nagoya Centrair.

Of course, I'm assuming you're going to fly out of Nagoya Centrair - if not, and you have to get back to Haneda for your flight back home, then the Rail Pass is the cheaper/better choice.

Another alternative would be to purchase a round-trip air+hotel package from a local Japanese agent (around 35,000yen including return airfare with 3 nights hotel) leaving from Haneda to Sapporo, you can opt to purchase for a 3-day or 4-day JR Hokkaido Free Pass (around 11500-12500yen) to explore southern Hokkaido.
On day 5th, you can choose to take a discount flight from Haneda to Chubu Nagoya (7800yen one-way).
