Will appreciate help. My friends and I will travel to Mt Fuji via Shinjuku then heading to Osaka the same day.
From Shinjuku we'll be taking the Fuji excursion to Kawaguchiko Station (the last stop on the Fujikyuko Line). For us to rest briefly and get to Osaka quicker. May I ask what is the best way or station to catch the fastest Shinkansen to Osaka using JR pass?

Hi there,
There is no fast or direct train from Kawaguchiko at all to Osaka. The fastest way would be to take an express bus (not covered by the JR Pass) from Kawaguchiko station to Mishima, then the Shinakansen to Shin-Osaka.
Alternatively, you can use the Fujikyu line back to Otsuki station and from there start using the JR to Shin-Yokohama station and there take the Shinkansen to Osaka.
The best route depends on the time of day when you travel, and how long you have to wait for transfers.
