Hello - we are flying into Haneda Tokyo and will need to catch the train from Haneda to Ginza (which is where our hotel is), we will then be in Tokyo for 2 days before going to Kyoto for 3 days, we will then return to Tokyo and depart for Hakuba on the Shinkansen to the snow for a week. We will return to Tokyo via the Shinkansen and spend another day in Tokyo before catching the train back to the airport.
Is a 14 day JR pass the best option for us, we are a family of 3. Will the JR pass cover all the different train journey types that we have as well??
Thankyou

Hi there,

For your itinerary I'd suggest purchasing your tickets individually, as it's likely to be your most cost-effective option. The JR Pass would essentially cover all of your travel but because you'd be using the 14-day Pass as well it wouldn't be the cheapest option for you.

Kind regards,

Alexis
