Hi everyone!
I'll spend 11 days in Japan. The most of time I'll stay in Tokyo (6-7 days), but I plan to go to Universal Studios (Osaka) and maybe go to Kyoto. Do I have to buy a JR Pass? See details:
- I will take one shinkansen bullet train to go to Universal Studios (Osaka);
- I will take one shinkansen bullet train to go back to Tokyo from Universal Studios (Osaka);
- I will take one shinkansen bullet train to go to Kyoto;
- I will take one shinkansen bullet train to go back to Tokyo from Kyoto.
Thanks!

Hi there,
For your itinerary, if limited to Osaka Kyoto and Tokyo, I would recommend purchasing your tickets individually rather than purchasing a JR Pass. This means paying for the Shinkansen tickets each on their own.
Kind regards,
Alexis
