Hello, i will arrive to japan (tokyo) on february 11.
My itinerary is as follows
Tokyo february 11 through february 16
Kyoto- february 16 to feb 19
Osaka feb 19 to feb 20
When should i activate the jrpass? Can i activate the jr pass when i arrive but start using it on february 13? Or what do you recommend.

Yes, you can activate the JR Pass the moment that you arrive in Japan and start using it on a later date. Just let the JR attendant know what day you first want to get on with using it.
You can also start making seat reservations from the moment that you've activated the JR Pass.
