Hi sir,
Below are our itinerary:
12 april 2024: arrive in tokyo
13 april 2024: tokyo city tour
14 april 2024: day tour to Gala Yuzawa snow Resort
15 april 2024: Disneyland tokyo
16 april 2024: Osaka
17 april 2024: Universal studios osaka
18 april 2024: Back to Tokyo
19 april 2024: Day trip to Kawaguchiko (Mount Fuji)
20 april 2024: Going back home (Via Narita Airport)

My questions are:
1. is it cheaper to buy the arch pass or just buy the tickets separately?
2. since the pass only valid for 7 days, for the 20 april, can we use suica card for narita express?
3. do the arch pass cover the trip to kawaguchiko?

Thank you.

Hi there,

For your itinerary it is likely to be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. However, the JR Pass will cover all of your itinerary and so it is still an option worth looking into if you feel that a pass is better suited for you.

You can use the suica for the base fare of the Narita Express, but you'll still have to pay for seat reservation - if you're purchasing tickets individually I would suggest purchasing a round trip ticket for the Narita Express, as it'll be cheaper overall.

The arch pass will not cover the trip to kawaguchiko.

Hope this helps!
