My itinerary is below:
Dec 25: arrive at Narita airport at 845pm - will be staying in Narita for the night
Dec 26-28: Kyoto
Dec 29-Jan 2: Tokyo with a day trip to Nara
Jan 3: Narita airport
Is it best to get a JR pass or standard tickets? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi there,
I think that a 7 Day JR Pass would be a great choice for your travel. The pass is about the same price as a return Tokyo Kyoto by Shinkansen but now you get 7 days of unlimited travel for the same price. The JR Pass covers all your travel including travel between Tokyo - Narita Airport and to Nara.
