Please advise: JR Pass or JR East pass?
I will depart on 9th May for a 13-day travel on the following itinerary:
Day 1 Haneda airport to Atami; between Tokyo to Atami, I would like to use Saphir Odoriko
Day 2 Atami and Ito area (east Izu)
Day 3 Yugashima
Day 4-5 Shuzenshi area
Day 6-7 Morioka
Day 8-9 Aomori
Day 10-11 Sendai & Matsushima
Day 12 Sendai to Tokyo
Day 13 Haneda airport
Hi there,
Since your travel is (nearly) 14 days, with active travel all around. My preference would be to use a 14-day Japan Rail Pass. This because there is no JR East pass that covers so many days.
